Our Team

Josh March – General Manager
Josh March Josh attained a B.S. degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Wellness from the University of Pittsburgh (PITT). PITT is an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) accredited and certified university, providing ACSM Health Fitness Instructor (HFI) credit and certification. He currently resides in Lancaster, PA with his wife Erin. Josh is a hockey fanatic and has played since he was a child. He continued to play in college and enjoyed a brief stint playing professional roller hockey here in Harrisburg. Josh is currently serving in the U.S. Air Force - Pennsylvania Air National Guard. Josh says, “I truly enjoy the environment I get to work in… I love the interaction with our members and the satisfaction of knowing that I can make a difference in their lives and in their personal health.”

Josh has been at Fitness U since we opened. He has facilitated many positive changes in the club since then. It is his passion for health, fitness, and exercise that drives him to make Fitness U different and more personal than any other club out there. He strives to make a personal connection with every member, and get people excited about coming in to the club.

Ashley Ziegler – Assistant Manager
Ashley Ziegler Ashley received her Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from Penn State University. She is a certified Health Fitness Specialist by the American College of Sports Medicine and has been working in the fitness industry for six years. Ashley has a passion for sports, especially basketball and indoor rock climbing. Originally from the Jersey Shore, Ashley is very excited to be a part of the Fitness U and Harrisburg community.

Personal Trainers

Our certified personal trainers can help you set and achieve any fitness goal! Certifications through: ACSM, NASM, NSCA, ACE

Give us a call to set up an appointment. We will evaluate your goals and any special considerations, and set you up with the trainer that best matches your needs. Unlike most clubs, we do not simply go by rotation… we set you up with the trainer that will give you the best results! You may also request a specific trainer if you like.

Group Exercise Instructors

Let our educated and experienced instructors get you pumped about exercise! They lead many different types of fun and exciting classes that are sure to make you feel great. Classes are for men and women, young and old, and for all skill levels. Come in and check it out!

Julie Mathews – Group Exercise Instructor
Kelley Julie has been an avid spinner since 1999 and has been instructing since 2005. She loves being able to teach something that she loves to do-there's no greater motivation! Julie enjoys the friendships and camaraderie that have formed in her classes. Her hobbies include hiking, gardening and cooking as a Pampered Chef Consultant.

Stacia Zewe – Group Exercise Instructor
Kelley Stacia has been an instructor with Fitness U since 2003. After years of taking step classes, she decided to become a AAAI/ISMA certified Step instructor upon recommendation of a fellow instructor. Stacia has since become a AAFA personal trainer and teaches Muscle Firm and Step Interval classes. She likes to change her class routines and instructions on a daily basis and has found that this theory has helped her develop a devoted class following. Stacia invites anyone to "Rise and Shine" and attend her early morning classes!

Monday thru Friday — 5:30am - 9:00pm
Doors close at 8:30pm

Saturday — 8:00am - 4:00pm

Sunday — 9:00am - 1:30pm
