Our Team

Josh March – General Manager
Josh March Josh attained a B.S. degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Wellness from the University of Pittsburgh (PITT). PITT is an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) accredited and certified university, providing ACSM Health Fitness Instructor (HFI) credit and certification. He currently resides in Lancaster, PA with his fiancée Erin. Josh is a hockey fanatic and has played since he was a child. He continued to play in college and enjoyed a brief stint playing professional roller hockey here in Harrisburg. Josh is currently serving in the U.S. Air Force - Pennsylvania Air National Guard. Josh says, “I truly enjoy the environment I get to work in… I love the interaction with our members and the satisfaction of knowing that I can make a difference in their lives and in their personal health.”

Kendy Shupp – Assistant General Manager
Kendy Shupp Kendy received her B.S. degree in Kinesiology with a specialization in Wellness from the Pennsylvania State University (Penn State). She is also a certified personal trainer through ACSM. Although Kendy is a native of Lancaster County as well, she currently lives in the Harrisburg area. She competed in the 2008 Boston Marathon and is an avid runner. Kendy says, “The best part about my job is seeing members achieve their health and fitness goals. Working with new members and watching them progress is a rewarding experience. I also enjoy teaching classes at Fitness U and interacting with our members!”

*Both Josh and Kendy have been at Fitness U since we opened. They have tried to facilitate many positive changes in the club since then. It is their passion for health, fitness, and exercise that drives them to make Fitness U different and more personal than any other club out there. They strive to make a personal connection with every member, and get people excited about coming in to the club.

Personal Trainers

Our certified personal trainers can help you set and achieve any fitness goal! Certifications through: ACSM, NASM, NSCA, ACE

Give us a call to set up an appointment. We will evaluate your goals and any special considerations, and set you up with the trainer that best matches your needs. Unlike most clubs, we do not simply go by rotation… we set you up with the trainer that will give you the best results! You may also request a specific trainer if you like.

Group Exercise Instructors

Let our educated and experienced instructors get you pumped about exercise! They lead many different types of fun and exciting classes that are sure to make you feel great. Classes are for men and women, young and old, and for all skill levels. Come in and check it out!

Kelley Estes – Group Exercise Instructor
Kelley Kelley has been teaching Kickboxing and Muscle Firm Classes at Fitness U since 2006. What once started out as a request to sub one time has now turned into an addiction! Kelley loves to help others stay in shape and her motivation is all the people who attend her classes! Her hobbies are running, reading, and most of all spending time with the three men of her life, her husband and two sons!!

Kylie Belack – Group Exercise Instructor
Kelley Kylie has been teaching spinning for the past three years at Fitness U. A friend introduced her to spinning three and a half years ago and she's been hooked ever since. She has also taught aquasize classes at the Northern Dauphin County YMCA. Her hobbies include road biking on the weekends, coaching midget cheerleading, and spending time with her black labs, Sadie and Lexi.

Saturday — 8:00am - 4:00pm

Sunday — 10:00am - 4:00pm
