Personal Trainers

Our certified personal trainers can help you set and achieve any fitness goal! Certifications through: ACSM, NASM, NSCA, ACE

Give us a call to set up an appointment. We will evaluate your goals and any special considerations, and set you up with the trainer that best matches your needs. Unlike most clubs, we do not simply go by rotation… we set you up with the trainer that will give you the best results! You may also request a specific trainer if you like.

Group Exercise Instructors

Let our educated and experienced instructors get you pumped about exercise! They lead many different types of fun and exciting classes that are sure to make you feel great. Classes are for men and women, young and old, and for all skill levels. Come in and check it out!

Susanne – BodyPump and Indoor Cycling
Susanne"I have been teaching aerobics for 10 years, certified in Spin, Bodypump and Small Group Fitness Personal Training. I was formally certified in Kickbox also. My certifications are through Les Mills (bodypump), AAAI/ISMA (small group fitness, group cycling and kick box), and MAD Dogg (spin). I currently teach 10 classes a week throughout the community with 3 being at FitnessU! I would love to see you there!"

Kelsey – BodyPump
Kelsey"I have been a member at Fitness U for the past 4 years while working in downtown Harrisburg. I recently became certified to teach Les Mills BODYPUMP after about 8 years of taking the class as a participant. My love of the program and its effectiveness ultimately led me to take the leap into instructing. I am passionate about helping others achieve their fitness goals through the high repetition weight training that the Les Mills BODYPUMP program provides. Come see what BODYPUMP is all about!"

Stephen – Cycling Fusion
Stephen"I enjoy endurance sports, including mountain biking, trail running, and swimming and I compete in mountain bike races during the summer. My goal at Fitness U is to help members to get in touch with their suffering. Many of my classes focus on high intensity and interval training and target speed, power, and endurance."

Tanya – Cycling Fusion
Tanya"I enjoy teaching and sharing what I know with others. Cycling is a great, fun way to start your day, it will definitely give you a boost of energy and get you going! Join us and start your day with us!"

Siobhan – Yogalates and BootCamp
Siobhan" I am a 2011 Penn State Graduate and I have taught fitness instruction for the past 5 years at Penn State's University Park campus as well as Harrisburg Gold's gym. I am passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and love working out! I enjoy teaching different types of classes such as Boot Camp, Power Remix, and Step; but Yogalates is one of my favorites! I am looking forward to helping some of our new patrons meet and exceed their fitness goals!"

Elise – Zumba
Elise"I'm thrilled to be able to offer Zumba classes at Fitness U, because it's more than just fitness, Zumba is FUN! I have about 19 years of dance experience, so dancing to both stay healthy and enjoy myself has always been important to me. Join the party on Tuesday evenings!"
